How to Survive a CQC Inspection (14/01/20)
This course is aimed at practice owners and managers of NHS and Private dental practices to walk them through what to expect in CQC inspections as well as improving their awareness of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (as amended), the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.
To better understand how the CQC inspects services through use of the Key Lines of Enquiry, to prepare you for the fit person interviews and to increase your awareness of how your dental practice can meet the standards outlined by the CQC with respect to the 3 regulated activities provided by all dental practices in England.
This 1 day course is designed for all dental registrants and aims to provide participants with the latest information regarding best practice on passing a CQC inspection.
Registration is at 09:15 and the course starts at 09:30. Expected finish time is 16:30pm.

Dr Amit Rai BDS (Hons) LLM FHEA
General Dental Practitioner and Practice Principal. Amit has a Dento-Legal background with past positions including a former GDC Fitness to Practise Committee Member. He has acted as an adviser to a number of dental organisations including the GDC and NHS England. Amit maintains a strong commitment towards Dental Education, being a past Vocational Training Advisor and current University lecturer in Dental Law & Ethics at a Master Degree level.
