Dr Mahul Patel graduated from King’s College London in 2002 and completed the MJDF examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009.
He completed master’s degrees in restorative dental practice and conservative dentistry in 2010 and 2012, winning the prestigious 3M ESPE prize for clinical excellence and academic achievement.
In 2014, Mahul went on to gain membership in prosthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Mahul’s clinical and research interests include aesthetic and implant dentistry, endodontics, the treatment of advanced tooth wear, crown preparation techniques and assessment and the behaviour of restorative dental materials. He has published and presented on this subject matter at local, national and international levels.
Mahul works in private referral practice in London and as a specialty dentist in prosthodontics at King’s College Dental Hospital. He is also a senior clinical teaching fellow at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and a senior clinical teacher at King’s College Dental Institute.
Mahul is a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona and an advisor for Dentinal Tubules. In addition, he is involved with training and mentoring general dentists of all ages and experiences through independent restorative hands-on practical courses across the UK.
