I have co-authored a number of papers and written chapters in books on the subject of paediatric dentistry.
I completed my BDS with the University of Glasgow in 2000 and then undertook specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in 2003 in Dublin at the Dublin Dental School and Hospital, where I also carried out a Master’s thesis on bonding to teeth affected by Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation. I completed my consultant training in Edinburgh in 2011 at the Edinburgh Dental Institute.
In addition, I examine in the Tri-collegiate Membership Examination in Paediatric for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, current chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee in Paediatric Dentistry and actively involved within the specialty. I also work in practice and enjoy clinical dentistry.
