The session will cover the theory and techniques to meet the objectives as outlined above.Participants are then shown how to correctly and safely use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) and airway management using an array of devices. The group is shown the drugs in our drug box and their purpose explained.

(ONLINE) How to Survive a CQC Inspection (26/09/22)

ONLINE: This course is aimed at practice owners and managers of NHS and Private dental practices to walk them through what to expect in CQC inspections as well as improving their awareness of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (as amended), the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.

Essential Hands On Skills For Minor Oral Surgery In General Dental Practice (27/09/22)

This one day course will provide the opportunity to the general dental practitioners of further knowledge and hands on experience in minor oral surgical procedures. The course will comprise of interactive session and hands on training on sheep heads and will help in building the confidence of the delegates.
(ONLINE) NHS Dentistry - Practicing Within the Rules, Regulations & Dental Assurance Framework (03/10/22)

ONLINE: An interactive course offering formal training to GDPs new to the NHS or a timely update for current NHS dental performers. The course will help an understanding of the common pitfalls and grey areas of the NHS regulations which have been notoriously difficult to interpret. Falling foul of the NHS regulations can lead to financial loss and potential referral to the GDC. This interactive one-day course will offer formal training to practitioners who are new to the NHS system and those who require an update with the current system (introduced in 2006).
