Course Overview
Introduction
This new LonDEC course is designed to enhance dental core competency in the essential skill of Dental Photograhy.
Dental photography has become an essential component of modern clinical practice. High-quality clinical images enhance diagnosis, treatment planning, patient communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, laboratory communication, and medico-legal documentation. Furthermore, photography plays a crucial role in case presentation, teaching, research, and professional development.
This hands-on course is designed for dentists who wish to develop a predictable and efficient approach to clinical photography using readily available equipment and straightforward protocols. Participants will learn how to capture consistent, high-quality images that can be immediately integrated into daily practice, regardless of their current level of photographic experience.
Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises, delegates will gain confidence in camera settings, image acquisition, lighting techniques, patient positioning, and workflow optimisation.
Aim
To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to produce consistent, high-quality clinical photographs for use in contemporary dental practice.
