Course Overview
From Diagnosis to Definitive Rehabilitation: A 5-Day Comprehensive Prosthodontic Summer School
Introduction
Using a single complex patient suffering from tooth loss, tooth wear, failing dentistry, and
aesthetic concerns, delegates progress through every stage of diagnosis, treatment planning,
preparation, provisionalisation, and definitive restoration.
By the end of the week, each participant has completed a full rehabilitation workflow and leaves
with a portfolio of clinical records, mounted models, wax-ups, provisionals, and implants placed
in the models.
Case Scenario:
I would chose a Severe Tooth Wear + Failing Restorations + Missing Teeth because:
* Every dentist encounters wear.
* Allows discussion of occlusion.
* Allows adhesive dentistry.
* Allows crowns.
* Allows bridges.
* Allows implants.
* Allows removable options.
* Allows digital workflow.
* Easier to create exercises.
Example:
50-year-old patient:
* Severe generalised wear
* Reduced OVD
* Missing UL6 and LR6
* Existing failing crowns
* Aesthetic concerns
* Bruxism
This becomes a vehicle for teaching virtually everything
