Mr Ciro Gilvetti is a specialist Oral Surgeon with a special interest in oral medicine, including the diagnosis and management of infective, premalignant and immunological oral diseases. Ciro is a Locum Consultant in Oral Surgery at East Surrey Hospital with extensive experience in oral mucosal disease and early detection of oral cancer. He works in both NHS and private practice and is actively involved in postgraduate dental education. He has extensive experience training and mentoring dental students, new dentists and other clinical and non-clinical staff. Adept at delivering lectures and teaching courses in oral surgery and oral medicine, assessing progress and providing individualised assistance with learning complex topics, procedures and methods. He is the lead for the “Oral Mucosa clinic” at Queen Victoria Hospital and has published in seeral peer reviewed journals.
