Third Molar Surgery
- The wisdom behind wisdom teeth surgery
This webinar will review the basic sciences, principles, surgical anatomy and techniques involved in surgical removal of third molars. The webinar will also cover common complications, with an overview of up-to-date evidence for management.
- Clinical and radiographic evaluation, case selection and risk management
In this webinar, the speakers will review the criteria on case selection, how to evaluate the patient clinically and radiographically and stratify how to minimise risks in case selection.
Hands-on Workshop Introduction
The course will review the basic sciences, principles, surgical anatomy and techniques involved in surgical removal of third molars. The presenter will also cover common complications and their management.
Using selected cases as standardized examples, the small group discussion will be conducted in a question-and-answer format discussing posed questions designed to illustrate and reinforce the topics of the lectures.
Aims and Objectives
- Determine & discuss participants experiences, and difficulties faced during removal of third molars.
- To review the criteria on case selection, how to evaluate the patient clinically and radiographically and stratify how to minimize risks in case selection.
- To gain hands-on practical using 3D printed task trainers.
